SAREE:

The Saree/Sari, after having survived hundreds of years of changes, invasions, colonizations, globalization has now emerged as a much fancied, glamorous and sexy outfit, seen adorned by beautiful women all over the world.The Sari gives a women a sense of luxury, grace, elegance and femininity like no other. Sari is an attire that flatters the female form and if draped well, can also help hide a few faults here and there. A Saree is definitely an attention grabber, whether on the red carpet, or a friend's wedding, or an office party. There is a saree for every occasion. Saree makes the woman wearing it feel like a princess, glamorous, beautiful and special.Saree is truly the most versatile garment. The same Saree can be draped in several different ways, worn with different kinds of blouses, even trousers, and accessorized in numerous ways. Sarees come in a whole range of different fabrics, colors, patterns, with different prints, work...there is literally no end with the kind of variety one can have in the wardrobe with just a few sarees.

Why I wear sarees?

Simply because why not? Saree is not just another outfit in my closet, it’s a lifestyle! In this ever judgmental world, Saree is one piece of cloth which is unbiased, nonjudgmental and ever accepting. While saree shopping no one ever asks you about your waist size or height and there is no one way of wearing them! Unlike any other cloth the older it is, the prouder you are! I am lucky to inherit lots and lots of my grandmother and mothers’ sarees!

MY COLLECTION AND WAYS OF DRAPING A SAREE 

Each and every type of saree make a women look beautiful and pretty.Normal saree suits to college girls,mummy ,aunties and  grandmothers too. Each and every girl when she is small like to wear mommy's saree or get draped in her DHUPATTA(Chunni).

you can wear normal saree in any functions whether a birthday party,office,small functions,weddings etc .it is very easy to drape normal sareee some times you can put some awesome accessories on it to make your look more beautiful.

-RED GEORGETTE SAREE 
(To have some party look  i used a black 4-layer neck piece with small reddish green earrings and red bracelet and messy hair )

you can try it with various blouses which may be party wear  or simple like i wore a plain black blouse.

if you try for designer blouse then i suggest you to wear long earrings without neck piece with a bun or hairstyle which suits you.

i bought this saree from pune and its original cost was 1500 but since you know i love bargaining i bought it for 600 rs/-

-GREEN SEMI SILK  WITH VELVET BORDER

(Nothing more just polka dots black blouse with long golden earring and a 2 minute bun)

you can use various blouses ,accessories as per your choice

YOU CAN ALSO WEAR THIS SAREE IN DIFFERENT WAYS
1.BUTTERFLY  STYLE
This style is not only stylish but it also makes you look slimmer. all you got to do is make extra thin pleats of you PALLU and pin it on your shoulder.

2.OPEN PALLU STYLE
Open pallu have an eternal charm-and any one who love wearing sarees would surely have fallen to the bewitching fluidity and grace of these.For starters they are easier and faster to drape.But if you fail to carry them elegantly ,they also run the risk of looking shabby.

3.DRAPED AROUND NECK(THE NOOSE WAY)
Standard or narrowly pleated pallu can be simply worn around the neck like a stole.
Accessorize it with long earrings and brooch for extra effect.
For winters ,when you wear a sweater or coat over your saree this type of drapping saree with suit .

This type of saree you can use in weddings since they give the diva look.

i bought this for 2000/- rs from my hometown yavatmal.

-WHITE WITH GOLDEN BORDER KANJIWARAM SAREE

(with a long golden neck piece and my favourite  golden ZHUMKAS and a high pony)

traditional look can also be created wearing such saree just put your nosepin(NATHANI) and beautiful bun with beautiful mogra flower wreath#GAJRAS

-BLACK WITH ORANGE BORDER CHIFFON SAREE
(As i have some alag wala love towards plain saree  and black is my favourite color so i made a combo with a black and golden designer blouse and black earrings for butterfly pallu and open pallu look with messy hairs )

This type of saree you can wear at night parties to give you classy look.

1.ROLLED PALLLU
I draped a normal saree and do not pleated the pallu.I rolled pallu an pinned it to the shoulder and with a golden choker and small earrings ..

yup again a plain color lover and red a color of love .you can wear this saree with normal way too but since i  was thinking for some sexy look so i wore it like this

(I draped a saree over a jeans with small  red earrings and a crop top)
It's easy.It's comfortable.It's functional and super chic.it might just be the right style for the next weeding you have to attend.

just a (nose pin ) nathani and wreath (gajras) and your maharashtrian look is ready for weddings,engagement ceremony and may more functions.
(this is my grand mom's saree i was just trying whether it suits me or not and i drapped it with open pallu you can use thin pleated pallu also with n nosepin )
