HEY I M BACK 😁

For all the beautiful ladies out there who want to achieve a simple and sophisticated makeup in a petty amount of time!

The stuff you need is listed below in the manner I am going to use them.

  • Face Wash (I prefer Himalaya Herbal Kesar Face Wash as my skin type is OILY) You can choose according to your skin type.
  • Body Lotion (I prefer Nivea Shea and Smooth Moisturizer)
  • Talc (I prefer Pond's Dreamflower - Pink Lily Fragrant Talc)
  • Kajal (I prefer Maybelline New York's Colossal Kajal and would recommend all the women to use it as its smudge free and stays for longer time)
  • Eyeliner (I prefer Oriflame Sweden Pure Colour Eyeliner-Black)
  • Lipbalm or Lipstick (Here the choice depends upon the type of place you are going to, If its your casual place like school or college then go for Lipbalm else go for Lipstick while visiting functions. I prefer Maybelline New York's Baby Lips Cherry Kiss or Nivea Vaseline Base Lipbalm and Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick)

I am gonna start with the walk-through,

- Wash your face with face wash and cold water.
- Wipe your face with cotton balls or Face Towel.
- Apply Moisturizer in a circular motion inside out.
-Apply talc(you can apply it as per your skin tone)

-Apply Kajal

They say that your eyes are the window to your soul.
Although there exist a million ways to enhance the eyes, every woman has her very own distinct style when it comes to doing their eye makeup. Kajal is of utmost significance, especially to us Indian girls for most of us feel incomplete without at least a stroke of it. True story?
Since it’s a quintessential makeup item that all girls need, it’s important to pick the right kind for you. The market is full of waterproof, smudge-proof and other such cool products. However, what makes a world of a difference is the way you apply your kajal.
To achieve the kajal-rimmed look that is on point, keep reading further.

How To Choose The Best Kajal?

The first and foremost step is to find a kajal that suits your needs and preferences. There are several factors that can help you decide:
  • You can choose from a retractable or a sharpenable kajal, you can choose between textures and colors. There are literally a bazillion options out there.
  • Try to avoid using pencils with glitter or shimmer in them as these elements can be harmful to your eyes.
  • If you have sensitive eyes, pick a more natural or organic kajal.
  • Also, invest in a good quality product with added nourishing ingredients, since your eyes are extremely vulnerable to infections.
  • You can also choose a lighter shade such as brown/dark brown. These shades can make your eyes look a lot bigger.

Prepping Your Eyes

I can’t stress enough how essential it is to prepare your eyes before you apply any kind of makeup. Make sure you’ve cleansed and removed any traces of oil or dirt.

Step By Step Tutorial To Put Kajal on Eyes

Although there are many different ways to do this, we’ve put together a simple step-by-step process to help you achieve stunning eyes within barely five minutes.

1. Glide That Kajal On

Start by applying the kajal to your lower waterline to make it more prominent. Start at the outer corners in order to impart a darker color. If you have smaller eyes, do not apply the kajal to your inner corners as this will make them appear even smaller.

2. Layer It Up

Ladies, the secret to long-lasting makeup is layering. Using a sharp kajal pencil, start lining your eyes from the outer corner and work your way through to the inner corner. This way you will ensure not to get any excess product deposited in the inner corners.
Apply generous coats depending on the way you like it so your eyes are well defined. For smaller eyes, focus primarily on the outer corners. It instantly opens up your eyes and makes them look bigger.

Tips And Precautions To Be Followed While Applying Kajal

Since your eyes are fragile and very vulnerable to damage, please ensure that you follow a few precautions when it comes to putting absolutely anything on them.
  • Would you share your tooth brush with your friends? No, right? Do not, under any circumstances, share your kajal or eyeliner with others. Germs can easily be transferred in the process and you may pick up a bad eye infection.
  • If you wear contact lenses, invest in a kajal pencil that is most importantly smudge-proof in order to avoid getting any of the product on your lenses.
  • To avoid permanent damage or going blind, ensure you do not do your eye makeup or pull out your kajal pencil for a quick-fix, while you are in a moving vehicle.
  • Skip kajal or other eye products, when you have an eye irritation or infection.
  • To avoid infections, avoid using products that have expired or are close to their expiry dates.
  • Always take off your eye makeup before you go to bed, using either an eye makeup remover or coconut oil.
Taa-daaaa😃

-Apply eyeliner

How many of you wanted to create perfectly lined eyes but ended up looking like a panda instead?
Don’t get me wrong, pandas are damn cute, but I don’t want to look like one when I have to attend a wedding or something. Knowing how to apply the eyeliner is one of the basics of makeup, so if you love makeup, you eventually learn how to do it. I am no exception! My go to is the winged eyeliner. When I feel lazy and don’t feel like doing myself up too much, I like going all out on my eyeliner. We’ve broken this potentially scary tasks into steps so that it’s easy to understand.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT LINER

There is nothing wrong with using a pencil liner for this trick you will get a softer line  but i prefer using  liquid liner..i suggest you to buy liner which are waterproof and long lasting.

It’s Time To Apply!

Step 1: Start by placing the tip of your eyeliner at the inner corner of your eye, along the lash line. Slowly swipe the liner to the outer corner of your eye. The more firmly you press down with your liner, the darker your wing will be. If you prefer a thicker wing, retrace your steps a couple of times.
Step 2: To wing the liner out, angle your line towards the end of your eyebrow. I tend to stop my wing where my crease ends. Keep in mind that all eye shapes are different! You might have to gently tug the skin at your outer corner to draw a straight line. I’m a fan of a more simple winged liner look, but you can draw your liner out as much as you prefer.
Step 3: Fill in your wing, thickening the curve as you go. Chances are you might mess up a time or two, so grab a cotton swab and start the wing over if you need to.

Practice Makes Perfect

It will take you a few tries in order to get your desired look. Sometimes you have to make one side thicker in order to make them symmetrical. If you’re having a hard time steadying your arm I recommend resting your elbow on the sink in front of your mirror. That way you have more control and you only have to move your wrist. Remember: Even professionals mess up, so don’t be discouraged if you can’t get it right the first time!

And it's done 😉

-Apply lipbalm

Everyone loves lip balm during the cold, dry months, but using lip balm responsibly is an important part of keeping your mouth and lips healthy. Follow these tips on picking the right lip balm and using it appropriately.
1.Uncap the container and prepare a small amount of balm.
Depending on the type of lip balm you selected, you will retrieve the balm in different ways. The most common type of lip balm is the tube.
  • For tubed lip balm, use the dial located on the bottom of the tube to raise the lip balm above the brim of the tube. You need only raise the balm by a half centimeter or so.
  • Gel-based lip balms are squeezed through a tiny hole in a lipstick-shaped applicator tip. An amount slightly smaller than pea-sized should provide enough coverage.
  • Liquid lip balms often come with what is known as a doe foot applicator. These are attached to the cap of the balm and store the balm on a spongy applicator tip.

2-Apply the balm to your lips.
A thin, even coating to the lips and area just outside of the mouth is best for keeping those areas moisturized. Don’t worry about overdoing it – the most you have to worry about is a slightly glossy appearance around your mouth.
  • Gel-based lip balm cannot be returned to the tube, so start with a smaller amount and add more as necessary to avoid wasting the product.
  • If you wear lipstick, apply the balm to your lips first and allow it to sit for a few minutes before applying lipstick. This lets the moisturizing agents work their magic on your lips first.

3-Draw in your lips to spread excess balm.
You want to “hide” your lips in your mouth. This helps spread the product over areas near the mouth that also become dry or cracked.
  • If your lip balm has a tint or coloring, be careful when applying and spreading the balm. Being too imprecise can cause a streaky, smeared mess on your face!

  •   Using Lip Balm Responsibly
  •   Avoid harmful ingredients
  •   Look for ingredients that help moisturize and protect.
  •   Throw away old lip balm.

-Apply lipstick

It’s been decades since lipstick has been the most popular form of makeup. It indeed is one of the most essential fashion accessories that most women just can’t do without. I’m sure you ladies will agree that it’s the “go-to” makeup for a lot of us when we quickly want to pull our look together. As the popular saying goes – “Give a woman the right lipstick and she can conquer the world”.
But having said that, let me tell you that not everybody knows how to apply lipstick properly. It’s an art. If you are one of those struggling to master the art of applying lip color, here’s help. We have a few hacks for you to apply lipstick perfectly if you ever found it fading as soon as you applied it or cringed when you found it bleeding on the outside of your mouth and onto your teeth. Sounds familiar?

How To Apply Lipstick Perfectly Like A Pro

To achieve the perfect pout and to make sure it stays, remember to follow these easy tutorials and tips for that glam look that lasts all day.
Let’s begin with what we need:
  1. A lip liner
  2. Talc {powder}
  3. Your favorite lipstick
And now we dive straight into the tutorial.

Step 1: Prep Your Lips

This is the first and foremost step and I can’t stress upon this enough – prepping is key! You don’t want to be walking around with dry, chapped lips. Exfoliate with a soft, damp toothbrush and hydrated by applying a nourishing lip balm to make those lips soft, supple and healthy-looking. You may apply a lip primer after to make the color stay on longer and to prevent it from bleeding.

Step 2:Use A Lip Liner

To define your natural lip line and to prevent your lipstick from getting messy, use a good lip liner to define, reshape and perfect the contours of the lips. This way you will achieve a more defined, precise and polished look.Trace over your natural lip line from one corner to another with a liner that compliments your skin tone to prevent feathering (this sometimes depends on matching it with the lipstick you decide to wear). To make the cupid’s bow more prominent, create an ‘X’ shape on your upper lip, just below the cupid’s bow.
Don’t worry if the lines on the inside are slightly imperfect because the lipstick will cover them anyway – but it’s the outer lines that matter.
Note: Use a liner that has a moderately smooth texture for easier application. I really like the Lakme 9 to 5 Lip Liners that come in various beautiful shades.

Step 4: Apply the Lipstick

Once you finish all the above steps and choose your lipstick apply it evenly all over your lips. Don’t miss out the inner corners. Ensure you apply it within the corners of your lined lips. Go coat by coat and intensify the color as you please. Usually, one good coat of a quality lipstick will suffice.

Note: If you have dry lips, you may not want to use matte lipsticks since they tend to dry your lips even more. Look for moisturizing lipsticks that also condition your lips.
If your lips are on the thinner side, avoid using very dark colors as they tend to make your lips look smaller.

Method 2: How To Apply Lipstick Without Lip Liner

In case you don’t have a lip liner in your makeup box, don’t fret because there exists a secret to applying lipstick perfectly, without using a liner.

Step 1: Use Your Finger

Rub your ring finger into the lip color of your choice and press this finger directly onto your lips moving along the natural lip line. This way you achieve precision without a liner.

Step 2: Finish The Look

For the interiors of your lips, finish off by applying the color either directly from your lipstick tube or using a lip brush.
Wasn’t that simple? This trick also comes handy when you are in a rush!

Important Tips And Precautions To Be Taken While Applying Lipstick

These are a few extra tips and tricks that you can keep in mind if you are a lipstick enthusiast.
  • Never use a dark liner with a light shade of lipstick – it will ruin your entire look.
  • Always soften the lines formed by the lip liner by blending them out properly either by using your fingertips or a Q-tip.
  • Get to understand your lips and also what formulations work best for you as this differs from person to person.
  • Always blot using a tissue to remove excess product and even out the texture.
  • To turn a glossy lip color into a matte finish, dust on some translucent loose powder on the lips and let it rest for few seconds. Dab them with a flat or a fluffy brush to even the powder out.
  • When applying lipstick with a brush, use an angular brush. This helps in providing a more defined look.
  • Always ensure that you have no lipstick marks on your teeth as this tends to happen when you wear a creamy, transferable lipstick.
  • Never use expired lip products as these can cause allergic reactions and other health issues.
  • Avoid trying out tester lipsticks at stores as it’s been on many lips and it can be a cause for the spread of infections.
  • Never apply lipstick on chapped lips, it will only accentuate all your cracks and lines.

Now that we’ve covered application let’s talk about how to remove your lipstick at the end of the day. It’s so important to take off every speck of makeup before you go to sleep to maintain the wellness of your skin. Besides, it feels good to have soft and healthy lips, doesn’t it?

How To Remove Lipstick?

There are several ways to remove lipstick. Ideally, you can use a makeup remover that you will find in abundance in the market.
We must be gentle with our lips, and while removing lipstick, we must always ensure that we don’t damage or dry out our pout in the process.

Method 1: Apply Vaseline Petroleum Jelly

Just dab some petroleum jelly onto your lips just like any lip balm, let it sit for two minutes. Use a wet wipe or a cotton ball to wipe away the lipstick. This also works for your liquid mattes!

Method 2: Use Coconut Oil/ Olive Oil

Slather on some coconut oil onto your lips which is nourishing and also one of the most natural makeup removing agents out there. With the help of a cotton ball, wipe away any product on your lips.

Method 3: Lotion

If you have nothing else available, you can try using some of your face lotion or body lotion and gently massage it onto your lips. After letting it sit for a couple of minutes, wipe it off with a cotton ball.
That’s all there is to master the art of wearing and removing lipstick. I hope you’ve made mental notes of some of these old tricks and hacks for the next time you want to dress your pout.
